We are officially in the new house. And thanks to Roger, (AKA Super Dad), the house looks like a house. There are a few boxes in each room to decorate and such, but all in all, it finally looks like a home.
Caitlin is adjusting very well...you would never know that this is a new house for her...she still sleeps like a champ! Savannah is getting used to the stairs. She charges up the stairs, and then gingerly walks down, with her back side swinging side-to-side...gotta love dogs!
We will spend this week doing little stuff each night to get all the boxes unpacked. Then, next weekend, Labor Day, Roger's cousins, Pat, Meghan, James, and their dog, Blitz, will be coming to stay on Sunday night, while they fly out on Monday to Philly. We will be watching Blitz for the week. She is a Bull Dog who has never gone up and down stairs...so this should be interesting! We are excited to see them!
Once we unpack the camera (and find that box, that is), we will post some pictures of the house and such.
