Family Visit with Aunt Dorothy

On the first Sunday of 2011, we were able to visit with my Grandpa Doran's sister, Dorothy. We went out to my cousin's house in Brandon to visit with her. It was so nice to see her. She is always fun, and talkative, and such fun to be around...90 years YOUNG! :)

Caitlin also got to visit with her cousins 3, 2, and 1 years of age! 4 girls under 4...YIKES! Jake enjoyed the cuddles from Aunt Dorothy!

Farewell, 2010...

In 2010, we said goodbye to some loved ones, and welcomed some new little ones into the world. There were some incredibly joyous times, followed by some very sad moments. As we prepare to enter 2011, we shall thank God for all the amazing blessings and opportunities given to us this past year, and look forward with excitement to the wonderful things that await us all. Happy New Year and God Bless!

Merry Christmas, 2010

Christmas is such a special time...we can gather as family and friends and reflect back on the year and remember the true meaning, Jesus' birth. We had a lovely Christmas with Mom & Dad Sivula and our little family of 4. Roger and I were also able to see his family the week before, albeit for a more solemn gathering, burying his grandfather. However, seeing family is a blessing whenever you can make it happen. As the Haney family said goodbye to an amazing man in 2010, we welcomed a new little man, just days later. The day after we left Pennsylvania, little Christopher Lee Bowman was born to two amazing parents, Tracy & Corey Bowman (Roger's sis & hubby). YAY! We all have so many blessings to count this year and beautiful memories to reflect on as Christmas comes and goes. Thank you to all of our friends and family that have touched our lives in the past and present. Merry Christmas, everyone!

A Fitting Farewell for Grandpap Haney

Roger's Grandfather, Bernard Patrick Haney, passed away on December 14, 2010, after suffering a stroke back in July. We created a tribute video to give to the family at the viewing. It was a beautiful memorial service and mass. I have uploaded the video below. We will never forget you, Grandpap. Thanks for all the memories...and the good times!

Long Weekend Fun

We took a nice long walk through our neighborhood, played outside in the gorgeous 75 degree weather. And we topped it all off with a Steeler and Bronco game on Sunday afternoon. Steeler game was a nail biter...and Bronco game...well, those pictures are better not suited for online...too sad to post! :( ha ha! Oh well, Broncos...better luck next year!

Thanksgiving

We had a lovely, long, Thanksgiving weekend. We are so blessed and thankful for all that we have and our family that surrounds us. I have added some pictures from our fun weekend together, below.
